Hall of the Muses
At the centre of the Habsburg Staterooms is the magnificently restored Hall of the Muses.
Costly stucco marble wall panels, gilded doors and decorative elements, and ornate chandeliers suspended from a delicately painted ceiling create a monumental atmosphere further enhanced
by life-sized sculptures of Apollo and the nine Muses. Lavish balls were once held here.
Today the hall is used for gala dinners and lectures.
