Children's Birthday Parties

Look forward to two-and-a-half hours filled with creativity, fun, and the enjoyment of art!

Take an exciting interactive tour and get to know the ALBERTINA Museum’s current exhibition or the State Rooms. Afterwards, at the colorful and cheerfully decorated Format Werk art studio, you’ll be awaited by a festively decorated birthday table with refreshments. After this snack, it’s time to “do it yourself” at one of the following workshops:
 

Painting

Paint, canvas, and you’re off! Let your imagination run free! Also try action painting, either hands-free or without a brush.
 

Printing

Woodcuts, engravings, monotypes, etchings – our exhibitions show you a broad spectrum of printing techniques. So have a try at methods of producing works in large numbers of copies.
 

Sculpture

From surface to space: the 3-dimensional aspect is the challenge, here. Paper, soap, or clay are available to work with.

Duration: 2.5 hours
10 children max. (including the birthday-child) | starting with the age of 6 years
 

Fees

room rental | working material | tableware | decorations | supervision fees for 10 children | supervision by 2 art educators during the entire event | admission for two parents or adult guardians
