For 250 years, the ALBERTINA has stood for the preservation and continued development of a unique artistic heritage. Your donation makes a significant contribution to realizing major exhibitions, expanding the collection, and ensuring that art remains accessible to future generations.

We sincerely thank you for your interest in supporting the ALBERTINA in Vienna, Austria. As one of the world’s leading art institutions, the museum is open to the public 365 days a year and serves as an important crossroads of culture and history.

The ALBERTINA, whose foundation and name trace back to the passionate art collector Duke Albert of Saxony-Teschen (1738–1822), houses one of the largest and most distinguished collections of graphic art in the world. It comprises more than one million works spanning the period from the Renaissance to the present day, presented through a dynamic program of temporary exhibitions. The permanent collection includes approximately 26,000 drawings and prints by the most important artists of modern and contemporary art history. In addition, the ALBERTINA’s photographic collection encompasses over 100,000 prints, covering all facets and genres of photography from its beginnings to the present. The exhibition program focuses on the great masters of art history as well as on the leading artists of our time. Retrospectives are complemented by thematic exhibitions dedicated to major artistic movements.
